The Australian Network for Plant Conservation Inc.

The Australian Network for Plant Conservation Inc. (ANPC) is a national not-for-profit organisation that promotes the conservation of Australian native plant species and communities.

Established in 1991, ANPC helps bridge gaps in communication and knowledge between plant conservation practitioners, scientists and managers. It runs training courses, workshops, national conferences and forums to help these sectors share their experience.

ANPC convenes expert teams to produce best-practice guidelines for plant conservation techniques. The network initiated, coordinated and published Plant Germplasm Conservation in Australia (Offord & Meagher 2009) and the Guidelines for the Translocation of Threatened Plants in Australia (Vallee et al. 2004).
