International Horticulture Congress in Australia in 2014

The International Horticulture Congress will be held in August 2014 in Brisbane, Australia. This Congress is a world forum covering all aspects of horticulture and horticultural science and is held every four years at various sites around the world and attracts more than 2,000 delegates. The theme of the 2014 congress is "Horticulture - sustaining lives, livelihoods and landscapes". The scientific programme will focus on four sub-themes: •Sustaining lives •Sustaining livelihoods •Sustaining landscapes •Tropical horticulture
A range of pre-conference, mid-conference and post-conference tours (seven in Australia and four in New Zealand) will be offered.
Abstracts are due on 1 November 2013 and early bird registration will close on 17 February 2014
